Conditions of Purchase
- All items are sold in the condition it was found at the time of the winning bid
- The bidder is liable for bids made on the internet.
- Buyer is the bidder of the highest bid.
- The purchase price is the hammer price plus 25% buyer’s premium. Furthermore an artist’s royalty of 5 % will be added to an art work with the term CD (Copy-Dan). There will be no Copy-Dan royalty if the winning bid is less than 1,863 DKK (250 EUR).
- (Only concerning Danes)
- The purchased art work must be paid 5 days after the winning bid at the latest.
- The purchase price has to be paid before the bought item is delivered to the buyer. The bought item must be collected from the auction house latest two weeks after the winning bid at the latest unless other conditions are agreed upon. The bought item remains at the buyer’s own account and risk from the time of the winning bid.
- If the purchase price is not paid in due time, KunstAuktionOnline.dk has a right to cancel the purchase without notice and to sell the bought item at a new auction. In this case the buyer will be charged with any loss that may arise. Has the violating buyer delivered another art work for sale, KunstAuktionOnline.dk has the right to sell the delivered item at an auction or in other ways without being bound by a settled minimum price. The violating buyer has no right to demand the delivered piece af art returned, before debts due to KunstAuktionOnline.dk are paid.
- KunstAuktionOnline.dk can always refuse a bid from a previously violating buyer.
- In case of misuse or technical faults KunstAuktionOnline.dk reserves the right to let the auction repeat.
- You have the right to withdraw from the purchase after the Danish law of consumer’s rights section 17. The cooling-off period are two weeks. The cooling-off period is counted from the day you have received the art work. It is a condition that the returned art piece is in the same condition as received. You will have to pay the transport of the return of the piece of art yourself. The right to withdraw is not in force if you are a professional dealer.
Conditions of Sale
- The seller vouches for having the absolute ownership of the delivered articles and that the articles are free and unencumbered in any respects.
- KunstAuktionOnline.dk insures delivered articles against fire, damage by water and burglary for the stated prices of valuation.
- The seller may settle a minimum price for delivered articles.
- Cataloguing and valuation are made to the best of knowledge and belief.
- In each individual case the internet auction runs for 20-28 days.
- When the auction has started, the articles cannot be withdrawn.
- In case of misuse or technical faults KunstAuktionOnline.dk reserves the right to let the auction repeat.
- If after the auction the delivered art work proves to be a fake, or if some problems concerning the seller’s right to the work arise, the seller is bound to pay back the settled proceeds.
- Does the buyer not accept the deal, the auction will be repeated. The buyer will be charged with any loss.
- KunstAuktionOnline.dk charges a commission of 10% on the hammer price for items sold, yet a minimum of DKK 150.
- (Only concerning Danes)
- If the delivered item is nor sold, there will be no commission.
- Danish VAT (25%) will be charged.
- After the end of the auction the seller will receive an e-mail stating the hammer price.
- The seller will receive the amount for the sold article within 30 days after the end of the auction, provided that both the buyer and the seller have met their conditions. If you give your bank account number to KunstAuktionOnline.dk, we will transfer the money.
If you wish to buy art on KunstAuktionOnline.dk
You are beginning with clicking the Tilmelding/Registration in the menu, then go to Log ind in the menu.
Afterwards you choose a category. If you click a piece of art, you arrive at the detailed site for the art work, where more information about the art work and about the artist is given.
You are also able to see the next possible bid and where it can be done. If your bid is outbidden, you will receive an e-mail informing you about it.
It is possible to see the art work at our address: Dronningensgade 15, 5000 Odense C. The opening hours are Wednesday-Friday 1 pm - 5 pm.
If you win the auction, you will receive an e-mail with the terms and conditions for settlement and collection.
The bought art work can be collected at our address in Odense or be sent.
KunstAuktionOnline charges a buyer’s premium of 25 %. If the hammer price exceeds DKK 1,863 (EUR 250), a Copy-Dan tax of 5 % will be added to an art work with the term CD.

If you wish to sell an art work, you can bring the work to our address:
Dronningensgade 15, 5000 Odense C in the opening hours Wednesday-Friday 1 pm - 5 pm.
You are also welcome to send a photo with a short description of the art work , and we will if possible make an advance evaluation.
You may settle a minimum price, and if the art work is sold, it will be free for the seller.
The art work will be for sale on the internet for 20-28 days. During the whole period the art work will be exhibited at our address in Odense.
After the winning bid you will receive an e-mail informing you about the hammer price your art work.
Within 30 days you will receive settlement for the item sold.
KunstAuktionOnline.dk charges a 10% commission, yet minimum of DKK 150, - (20 EUR).
